my mind roamed as i sit here studying for two of my first exams of spring semester.
why can't i just be happy with a cheap, easy to get communications degree?
why must i have to go out of my way and spend 10-13 years in school?
why do i have to major in psychobiology?
why do i want to become a psychiatrist?
why can't i settle?
what's your major and what do you plan on doing with it?
what is making you want to take that route?
or if you're done with school, well the same questions but just past tense.
and an additional two questions, do you regret taking that route? are you happy?
I'm a history and French double major but I enjoy French more but I didn't want it to be my only major because people don't take it as seriously and they don't do any French research at my school. I plan to get a fellowship for grad school in French studies ( as of now I am thinking of Tulane but it's too early to tell. I want to be a professor of French civilization and a novelist and translator too.
Well i just applied to Medicine school. Then i'm thinking Surgery. And if i wanna keep studying i don't know whether to choose Plastic Surgery or Neurosurgery. If i do it i'll finish when i turn 32.

Only 15 years left.
If they don't accept me tho.
all doctors end up finishing school when they're old, haggard men.
