Plant Music: Love Me Too is the second edition of the electronic compilation from New York label and dance institution Plant Music. The original Love Me was named 'Compilation of the Month' in DJ Mag and given an 8.5 out of 10, so clearly we just had to mess with a good thing. The label previously brought you the groundbreaking Sound of Young New York three-part anthology series and were the first to release albums by Kasper Bjorke, Tittsworth, The Glass, Clubfeet and Eli Escobar as well as an array of fresh dance music talent from NY & the world over. We know people say "sequels are never as good as the original" but we're here to tell you that this is more Godfather II than Weekend at Bernie's II, trust us...
Drawing its name and inspiration from the unique artwork of world renowned visual artist Cutis Kulig's iconic 'Love Me', the album features the next wave of DJ and producer talent from NY, but also includes artists from Los Angeles, Europe, and Canada. The official release is April 8 with a March 25 'Beatport Exclusive Edition' with extended mixes for DJs and a bonus club cut from longtime Plant-man Eli Escobar. Check out the track listing below which contains some key tracks of 2013 and a number of brand new exclusives we 'love' and think you will 'too'.
