Nope because on FIFA's website Pitbull ft. Claudia Liette & Jennifer Lopez is considered the official theme song for the year 2014.

They already did a conference about it back in January which was attended by Pitbull, Claudia, the Secrety General of FIFA, and the President of FIFA.

Everything else about this Shakira song being the official song seems to be fabricated or misinformation.

Let's get real for a second, do you really think FIFA and Sony Music would give JLO the official song when Shakira's around? Even if they do, JLO's single will the first single of their compilation then Dare will the second single. The strongest will survive like in 2010. In case you didn't know, Waka Waka was the second single and overshadowed the first single.

Shakira is a better choice, plus she's bigger in Brazil.

So T-Mobile is having an action where you can get “Shakira.” for free. Just enter any phone number and it will work. It doesn’t include La La La, but it does include Dare (La La La), which is slightly different from the Brazil edition. Just some different lyrics + production.
