I wouldn't really call myself a big Avril fan, but this is great! Made me even go back and download the other flop singles from Avril this era Hope the US gets this as a single as well
...Although I wouldn't really mind Hello Kitty either. It may reach cringe-worthy levels of cheesiness, but that's right up my alley
Sad, but kinda true Even though I really liked Rock n Roll as a single, they should've started with something different for Avril. Even with an enjoyable video, people are tired of that sound from Avril. This would've brought something new to the table.
As for G.U.Y., although it's not my favorite from ARTPOP (I still shed tears for DWUW ha tarnished legacy ), the song and it's video should've lead off the ARTPOP era. It would've smashed right then and there, and we wouldn't be dealing with all this "Lady Gaga's such a flop" nonsense.
Oh well, hopefully they learn from they're mistakes next time around...
lol I think the RNR video is too affective on u. Its concept is kind of similar of what Gaga did for music video, and that's why you love it like so
I hope this does well for Avril's sake. It's not even my favorite off the record, honestly. I think it's a little overrated, but it's different for Avril and I definitely think it was a smart move on her part. I just hope it does well. And she better be releasing "Bitchin' Summer" and "Sippin' On Sunshine" in the summer, and then she can end the era with "Bad Girl" and "Hush Hush" later on in the year.
Give You What You Like IS the best song on the album, by far, followed by Hello Heartache, Hush Hush and Bad Girl. The worst is Sippin' On Sunshine and I don't feel Let Me Go, always skip it.
