People were really into Emma Stone for a while (although not to the extent of Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence) but Emma Stone's personality never got questioned as 'contrived' as Jennifer's is.
But overall I agree, American doesn't want to believe a celebrity can be so relatable and 'real', so eventually they will turn on them. I still like Jennifer Lawrence! I think she's a talented actress and I haven't heard any stories of her being rude (like how there were about Anne) so there's still a chance she's actually really cool.
It's so strange how fast media turns on someone, and how fast the public kindly follows suit. 4 months ago she could do know wrong now She gets shaded left and right for...falling? Or what? Any famous woman who seems nice or relatable is fake? But if she's mean or unrelatable she's a bitch.
It's like someone just decides who it's cool to like and who it's cool to make fun of.
In 2013 if you liked Jen and posted on your tumblr how cool she is and how her views on body image inspire you, you were part of the in crowd
In 2014 if you bash Jen on your tumblr your so open minded and different, when you're actually, again, part of the in crowd.
I wonder who decided these things? Media forming the publics opinion yet again. Sorry Jen.
