Joan Rivers has lashed out at Lena Dunham for promoting diabetes and being overweight.
The famously outspoken TV host made an appearance on Howard Stern’s Sirius radio show on Tuesday saying that Miss Dunham is ‘sending a message out to people that it’s OK to stay fat and get diabetes.’
She also took aim at the 27-year-old Girls creator’s clothing in relation to her body type, asking: ‘How could she wear dresses above the knee?’
Mr Stern came to Miss Dunham’s defense, replying: ‘I think the thing we love about her is that she doesn’t give a s***.’
‘Oh, every woman gives a s***,’ Ms Rivers countered, adding at that she would love to tell Miss Dunham ‘let me dress you.’
