:bilbio: All ya'll complaining about this sound like spoiled brats.
Minus turning it in at night, all this was pretty much a given when I got my first phone, except my mom knew how to use the fear of god when giving me rules. She didn't have to draft up a contract.
I think for the most part the rules are reasonable. After all, he's 13. When things like Amber Cole pop up on the internet the first thing anyone shouts is "Where are the parents?" At least she's being responsible and not spoiling her son. Plus she DID buy and is paying for the phone. Most of the first generation of iPhone users bought and maintained the phone with their own money. I'm sure she'll be more lenient once he gets older.
15. Download music that is new or classic or different than the millions of your peers that listen to the same exact stuff. Your generation has access to music like never before in history. Take advantage of that gift. Expand your horizons.
18. You will mess up. I will take away your phone. We will sit down and talk about it. We will start over again. You & I, we are always learning. I am on your team. We are in this together.
This rules tho. This boy should listen to whatever he wants and grow as the person as he meant to be. She is taking too much control in this process. And i cackled at the "I'm on your team" - part.
LOL at her telling her son he can't listen to mainstream music. A contract like this is total BS. You need to put some sense of trust with your own son.
He's 13 and he has to give the phone to her by 7:30 PM?
Honestly, some of the rules are amazing. I wish my mother was more like this to be honest. Especially the whole stuff about not getting too attached to the phone, nudes, and the music choices.
This mom is awesome. (the invasion of privacy is totally unnecessary though)
