She'll get flack for using others star power, but the public aren't going to care and it's hard to argue with a smash hit. Plus, people have no problem using her for attention.
It would definitely be a strong start to the era. Radios would have to support it.

It would be such an epic start to an era. I wouldn't care about people saying she had to use another artist to get a hit because Beyoncé could use a hit too and it would just be so amazing

do you think bey is some what intentionally avoiding the follow-up collab with Gaga due to this whole Era? Gaga was so hesitant when asked about the continuation, and as she said before the album dropped, the paparazzi's continuation was on the album... Why would she not use that as the lead? her 1st week would of easily went to 500k+, Applause was the wrong decision, I don't think the continuation is even on this album tbh.

The continuation was obviously Aura, and she probably was awkward about it because by that point she knew Aura wasn't going to be the smash hit she thought it would be when everyone was quite like 'yeah, no' after it leaked.
She also probably realised judging by people's reactions that she needed to actually have Beyonce feature for it to be the event it should be. Or feature Britney.

No I think Bey will want to be apart of it. It was huge for both of them so I don't see why she wouldn't want to.
I have no idea how this era was supposed to go compared to how it has actually turned out so far but she did say the continuation was happening on artpop but I doubt it now.
I still think if Aura never leaked and she used the demo vocals it would have been a huge lead single and the vma performance would have been awesome. Applause was underwhelming but I still like it

Oh wow. that totally passed my head, reciting the lyrics it does make for the continuation... I don't think it would of fit well with either bey or britney, it's great that gaga never officially revealed it to the mass, as most of them were let down due to the fact of the missing continuation. I think if gaga played the singles cards right, and scrapped aura & re-wrote a 'catchier' song it would of been phenominal, Aura with no screaming vocals just destroyed the song :/..

The screaming in Aura is what made the song, without it the song is just a waste of an amazing chorus.

Yeah it's good that she didn't waste the continuation card on an ARTPOP song. It's too valuable now as an all-but guaranteed hit (if it's a collab with Beyonce).

Beyonce sucked the life out of Gaga. That's why Alejandro - MTN was MEH while 4 was amazing with amazing visuals and then she released the really cool and awesome BEYONCÈ. But Beyoncé's black magic has since worn off so a collaboration may be in the works

No, she didn't stop wanting Aura as a single once, but she understood that its opportunity passed and she had to move into a fresh new single like G.U.Y. Also, I don't think anyone but her hardcore fans is still waiting that Telephone continuation. I don't think that it is ever happening now, it was Aura, she planned everything for Aura to be the continuation, she dragged the sequel two albums, she probably wants to move on and just start another thing.

I think we'd be surprised by the reaction to it. I doubt people are fussed IF it happens, but they'll get hyped up WHEN it happens because it's a Gaga/Beyonce collab that's continuing the popular Telephone single/video. It's what people want to see. Media will go nuts for it. Not as much as Telephone, but more than the likes of Rihanna ft. Shakira (more down to the song being rubbish though).
