An absolute mess. People should be allowed to express themselves however they see fit. She's only 8 years old, if she wants to have shorter hair or wear shirts LET HER. It's not harming anyone. Let her be happy. I'm glad the parents decided to stick by their daughter and not bend to the school's ridiculous and outdated views. I hope she grows up to be happy and comfortable in her own skin.
