In defence, it could be caused by a medical condition. My mum is a nurse and she's seen a couple of fat baby's in her time (like really big).

What concerns me is that if it was natural weight, then the mum must be feeding more than too much. A baby's metabolism (unless there's a problem) is very strong so it would be very hard for him to put on weight, because since we don't move, our metabolism works hard to keep us fit.
