there's obviously more to this and he's just saving face. like i'm pretty sure in this day and age you don't "cash out" on anyone in the music industry that can still sell music... lol.
I wouldn't take it quietly if some rapper is bragging about how he invested in my fave like buying a horse and how he made money by selling it with profit before the decline.
Althought it's perfectly normal business practice, you don't have to say it in such an awful way.
