The performer, who last directed 2011’s stylish period romance W.E., is attached to direct Ade: A Love Story, an adaptation of the debut novel by Rebecca Walker.
Bruce Cohen is producing the indie adaptation via his Bruce Cohen Productions. Jessica Leventhal, the company’s director of development, and Walker also are producing.

Yeah no one expected her to snatch the highest grossing tour of 2012 with $305.2 million grossed, and 10th highest grossing of all time, and pick up the Top Touring Artist at the 2013 Billboard Awards.
No one expected much from W.E. to have a chance in hell at winning anything.
As a Madonna stan I will not allow for another movie to side track her from her bread and butter career. I need music and a tour.
