This. The disrespectful posts are the last reason why some Kats bite back.
Not able to sing was disproven with CDT. The critics criticised everything, but had to admit that her voice is clear, flexible, strong and surprising versatile. It is not because shady TV crews made her sound worse than fan made recordings filmed in the crowd, that she sounds bad live.
Monster ball tour started with 6k, 8k venues and £ 27.5 tickets and upgraded quickly to arenas. Gaga chosed to cash in and doubled her ticket price. 227 million USD with 201 dates.
Katy chosed to not increase the price and let as much as possible people in. They can still spend it on merchandise. CDT and her movie was used to promote her brand and convince people to come to her next tour. She is now ready for doubled price in the UK, doubled the dates in big cities, tripling in the US, 135USD average ticket price in Australia, over 100k tickets in Melbourne.
I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 227 million USD with 124 to 150 dates because of not having small venue or 30 dollar average ticket price dates.
