ARTPOP sold 2 million copies (or at least shipped), Applause and DWUW did decently, so unless he got in Katy's or Adele's team, I don't see HOW it was the right decision to leave her.

But it's at not even 1.7 millions with little singles sold... Pretty much every popstar did better than her with their last albums, even MDNA ...
