I feel like people don't even understand the consequences of the artist and her health. What Gaga did was triggering to the disease of eating disorders (yes, in their eyes it's a disease). The fact that all of the Monsters will jump and support anything shows the power and influence Gaga has on her fans, which is scary. Call it a form of art, at this point, I call it a form of a cry for attention to be completely honest, but hey she got what she wanted, people talking about her. I just find it disgusting for her fans to treat not only Demi like **** because all I saw in the other posts were "GAGA HAS AN EATING DISORDER, WHY WOULD SHE CONDONE IT!!!" yet the Monsters are all attacking another figure who suffers from one because they didn't agree with Gaga's message. THAT is why I no longer call myself a Gaga fan. The fans on here along with twitter say some disgusting things to protect their leader. Go ahead and respond with "you mad" or something immature. If that's the best you can do, then good day. I've said what I've needed to say.

Demi Lovato is one of the most annoying pop stars out there. Always so damn sensitive. She used to be tolerated, but now she's so overdone. GIRL BYE!!

Some of the comments here…
Here’s what I gotta say: no matter how you look at it, whether it’s art or not, it still resembles the actions of bulimia. Not all people know that there’s an “art” like this. Not all people know Gaga’s art and what kind of art she is trying to promot like the Little Monsters or “art”ists do. That’s why Demi reacted. That’s why a significant amount of people reacted as well. Because what Demi and the people saw, was a girl inserting her hands in her throat, and vomiting substances, which resembled the actions of bulimia, and did not see the artistic side of it. But who could blame them? They didn’t know this type of art.
Sure, there are people who will disagree with what I just said or even this whole post, but if you get a random person and showed them the girl in the “Swine” performance, their reactions could either be: 1) “That’s disgusting, why would she do that?”, 2) “Why is she promoting eating disorders?”, or 3) “I’ve never seen such fine and beautiful art.”, etc. because there is still a possibility that someone would know about this type of art. But, if you get a random person who does not know one bit about art (well, except for the basics), what they will most likely see is someone trying to throw up because of the actions they are seeing, not the art. Demi saw differently because when she saw what the girl was doing, it looked like the actions of bulimia and that’s why she reacted, along with people who weren’t aware of that art. She’s suffered from it before and for nearly her whole life. That’s why she said something. But I guess people could never understand what she went through because either 1) they haven’t suffered from anything related or similar to what Demi suffered from, or 2) everyone will just go on about her “sob story” and how “pathetic” or “stupid” it is.
And to some of the Little Monsters, can you stop being so ignorant? “Shows the stupidity in Demi's tweets and those that agree with her stupid logic.” Can I just say again that NOT ALL people know Gaga’s art? NOT ALL people know what kind of art she’s promoting like Little Monsters or “art”ists do? Don’t call us “idiots” when Demi, we, and everyone who didn’t know that there was a type of art like this. You can’t expect everyone to know that there’s an art like this. That's all I gotta say.

Basically, for some it is art then for others it's not. Calling someone an idiot is just plain stupid (who was that even?). But those quotations marks ("art"ist) were just unnecessary.

Made Demi look like she was reaching. Which I guess she was. Smart move.

She's proud of the performance? I think it was disgusting.

Like, if the Swine performance inspired you to become bulimic than there was something psychologically wrong with you before then.
