USA seems to be the only country in the world to allow free circulation of guns. As a response to guns attacks, some states pass laws to allow even more guns in the streets instead of taking the logic step of prohibiting gun ownership completely. Why are people in the USA so obsessed with guns?

Race. The mentality among the red states that 'I have the right to protect my family from the bad guy black man'. Not only is the constitution dated but it was written in a very different world by a group of slavery-supporting white racists.

literally so annoying, how everyone from the outside can see something needs to be done, but so many Americans go into attack mode and refuse to even consider the idea of having their guns taken, no matter how many theaters/schools/malls get shot up
