BTR Can Still Crush the Boy Band Competition; Haters Deal

Despite the lack of new Big Time Rush music (and the foursome’s Nickelodeon television show), the guys prove that they can still crush the boy band competition to this very day. Whether they’re all together, or far apart, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson and Carlos Pena are EVERYTHING.
First off, they had four seasons of a hit series on a major TV station. On said show, they proved their comedic talents, and dancing skills while touring in between seasons.
Now, some are still having successful music careers. Eff yeah, Heffron Drive! Some are pursuing other ventures: Kendall and Logan are doing some voiceover work with Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens AND Ashley Tisdale.
Heck, one even got hitched! Congrats, Carlos! He’s also tapped to star in a film alongside Marisa Tomei, Jamie Lee Curtis and George Lopez. NBD.
And, of course, you know James Maslow‘s on Dancing with the Stars. Best season ever.
All the while, they all remain besties. Like we said, they crush the competition.

They don't have one thing that's fundamental for these boybands aimed to pre-teen females: the looks.
They should do alt rock stuff instea. I'm sure that's what they'd rather be doing.

The public does not care for BTR at all. It's not because they aren't talented. It's not because they don't have good music. It's because nobody thinks they're a real band. I even had to look it up the first time. Most people think they are a fictitious band on a TV show and that they don't produce their own music. That was the first mistake. They're promoted like the Cheetah Girls and unfortunately they haven't even done that well.

At this moment the ARTPOP's sales are more important than this irrelevant band, I bet these guys sold less in their whole career than the whole "Spirit Indestructible" era. There are examples of artist with no Grammys, no sales, no chart toppers but all in one JUST BTR.
At least Justin Bieber can be dragged and can get some acknowledge for being dragged but.... this band
They deserved to be Britney Jeane'd, Avril Lavigne'd, ARTPOP'D in the music industry. For sure they will be more successful as **** gay actors.

Even if they tried, they wouldn't be much competition to 1D anyway. Their fanbase is larger than BTR's.

THIS
BTR should've found a way to do the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus route so that people could associate them as a TV character and a real person respectively.
Instead, people only think of the show when they hear the name Big Time Rush, and not the actual band.
I think maybe they could've done a double disc CD like Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus. The first CD could've been songs from the TV show and the second CD could've been a completely different album showing BTR as an actual band. I'm sure if they did that, BTR's chances at success would've been much higher. The dual disc definitely helped Miley out in the long run.
