Ryan's demo wasn't bad. I liked it. I prefer Demi's version, but then again, I'm used to her version, so hearing such different lyrics, it's weird. Regardless, though, I love it. Ryan did a fabulous job, as always.

Actually, I will take my comment back. I looked in the album booklet and she's not the main writer of the song. Damn Wikipedia.

But you can tell who the main writer of the song is usually by the order of the list of writers for the song. Usually the main contributor to the song is listed first.

Again, this is not true. The only way to truly know who is considered the majority writer is to see a split sheet, which determines how publishing royalties are dispersed. And I can assure you, most of the time we will not be seeing those for songs like this.

K, first she changed more than one word. From my count there were at least 4 different lines that were changed and the production was altered.Second, I actually have a physical copy of this CD and I can tell you that she is not listed as the first writer on this song. The only songs that she's listed as the first writer on on DEMI are Something That We're Not, Warrior, and I Hate You Don't Leave Me.

Also, I know you're not coming for Demi's songwriting credentials and creative involement in her muusic with a Niall Horan icon. Honey, please.

On her first two albums Demi was involved in a much more organic writing process, and has multiple solo compositions on them. She barely contributed anything on Unbroken probably because she was so scared she'd loose her career post-rehab that she enlisted pros that she thought could give her hits to safeguard her career. She was much more creatively involved with DEMI, but I think her work on X Factor distracted her a bit from her recording. She seems in a good creative zone right now, and has talked about taking time off to go work with people out of the country, so I think she'll probably be much more involved creatively on her next album.
