People love to say that everything will work out fine. that even though u may have went through a horrible break up, that that person has opened ur eyes and u will soon have the oppurtunity to be with the true love of your life etc..

but here i am thinking, it cannot possibly work out for everybody. there are so many options and outcomes that could happen in life, we will never truly expierence it all. do we only think that things have worked out because we are settling for too little??

i love to believe that destiny and fate is true, is there a plan bound for us throughout our lives that we will all be satisfied with in the end?

i hope that you guys understand what im getting at, if not, just say so, and i will try to clarify my thoughts in different words.

I don't believe in destiny but it's necessary to believe that everything works out in the end because life would suck if you didn't. The future hasn't arrived yet so we haven't had the opportunity to screw it up, so it's a better place than now. Always look to future with optimism. In the words of Bob Marley, "every little thing is gonna be alright".

You feel that way by default when you've invested so much effort and time into someone you truly loved. I felt tha same way with my last breakup, which was tha most intense. I'm now in a new relationship and happier than i've ever been in ANY of my relationships.

Keep your standards of behaviour high, and just invest in being happy. You'll get the right one when you least expect it. Plan and expect to be happy, and love will properly find you. We attract what we are. If you're down in the dumps, you'll attract a guy who reinforces that thinking. You may not believe me, but it's true.

thank you, this guy im with now is not calling me or talking to like he used to, he is barely texting me at all. his excuse is that he works all the time. i either want out or i want him to change and it to be like how it used to be.. a call every night. now im lucky to get a call once a week

Get rid of him. Find other things to occupy the space he had. My ex tried the same ****. That's why he's an ex. People push to see how far they can go/get away with. He's not worth your time. Put it this way, if that was your husband, would you tolerate being treated like that? And there's your answer. We make time for what we really want, and excuses for what we don't. You should get closer to someone you date not further away, and a call/text a week doesn't help communication. And chances are too, he won't change, he'll stay the same. I thought that about my ex too, and that was a sign it's time to leave.
