I would have a meltdown if she came back in November 2015, selling around 200-240k copies having one #1 single and then the for her to abandon the campaign afterwards . Because of the break I think my expectations are gonna be so high

But as far as the movie goes critics can't really blame Rih like they did w Battleship. Her voice is being used she's not acting so if the movie does turn out to be terrible thats DreamWorks fault for writing a bad script not Rihannas.

Well Rihanna won a prestigious award for Battleship, like who cares if it's bad? It's an achievement and that's important

As long as her songs and the videos promoting them (for Home of course) are not inapropriate i think we don't have to really worry about that
Hopefully it smashes. I think it's being released the week of Thanksgiving so it should do well. Soundtrack albums usually don't sell that much (Frozen is an exception- it's literally a musical) so we'll just have to wait and see. I could see it going platinum WW just thanks to the Navy. If they use her songs in the actual movie it could also do well.

From what I've seen I agree Home doesn't look good at all, is it 100% confirmed that Rihanna will be singing all of the songs for the soundtrack?. I think it will sell around 100,000 copies in the UK and around 300-500k in total in the U.S, and probably all together 1M worldwide. Soundtrack albums just don't sell that well anymore.

Nothing about the Home album is confirmed. All we know is that Rihanna's doing a concept album based on the movie... for all we know, there could be a soundtrack for songs in the movie and a separate one done by Rihanna. I doubt they would make two albums but you never know

They didn't complain about Snoop Dog and his track.
Since it has Rihanna's name on it, it will probably see ARTPOP #'s which isn't bad for a sountrack.
Also Rihanna probably the lead of the soundtrack and maybe J.LO will feature on a song or two. But overall it's Rihanna's. I don't get the complainining music is music.
