She can take heart from her "Telephone" partner Beyoncé, who appeared to be slipping with 2011's 4 before rebounding to deliver the best album of her career in her self-titled surprise set last December.
The only reason people think it's bad is because it performed badly. Her vocals are completely on point and she's delivered 4 of her best songs ever on one album: Dope, Applause, Do What U Want & G.U.Y. And lets not forget the killer choruses on Aura and Venus which are Bad Romance-sized.

I agree with everything you said apart from 'Dope' being one of her best songs. That's one of her worst songs ever, in my opinion.
the media will never change it's tone about an artist mid-era: from the second the Applause/Roar comparisons were made, the media decided that it would sleep on Gaga for this entire era
her only option is to see this era through until the end and then re-invent herself next era
