It is funny because it ended up with someone getting fired like **** gaga you aren't playing. My question is why wasn't she this stubborn/firm with the BTW era?
What do you mean? She fired boomkack, her video director walked off, and she made we biggest coattail rider quit (Perez).
But to be fair it was her first era with some serious mismanagement/visual mess

Hahaha she wasn't in touch with her Creative Rebellion alter ego yet!
What did she fire Boomkack for? Unlike a lot of you, I don't think her assistant is doing a bad job, MTN had excellent choreography, but she had very iconic skills.

Boomkack was saying some rather messy things in interviews like that she created Gagas image. And that she purposely made her into a Madonna copy cat.
Well, I'm glad they have changed their plan cause Venus after Applause would have killed the era. Definitely.
I guess we'll never know for sure. Also to me the era was dead the second applause started dropping on iTunes. I don't think Gaga cared about the chart success tbh it was more about releasing the visuals
I'm sure she loved the idea of "Do What U Want", but she just didn't like how her label was trying to control the artistic direction of the era. I feel if they let her release "Venus", and THEN "Do What U Want", little to none of the rage she experienced over the past 6 months would've came to her tbh.
