I don't decide quality of albums based on outside influences. I listen to the melodies, beats, lyrics, fierceness, and bopness of the songs. I didn't hear much of that except in "Applause" "DWUW" and "Artpop". FYI some if my most listened to albums were flops. I couldn't care less about commercial success IF the music is playable.

Also, I don't think any of the pop girls have released quality albums recently. Gaga and Beyoncé have a lot explaining to do in my opinion.

Why is no one reading the OP properly?

Personally, whilst she's releasing one of the better songs from Artpop I feel that it's going to take a lot for many non stans to get back into her, and that's not going to happen during this era because of the album. One good music video (which we haven't even seen yet) doesn't account for a bad album, and I'm only ever here for her music when I am going through a stage of being here for her anyway, so this won't make up for that.

Having said that, I have seen many people that have been bashing her recently, praising her to the high heavens, so yes I guess bandwagon-ing is beginning again unfortunately...
