There’s no doubt that Iggy Azalea is one of the brightest rising stars on the urban music scene.
Azalea is a fashion icon (she was named the face of Levis according the The Fashion Spot). She stands out in the crowd with her distinctive sound and was the first female to be named to XXL Magazine’s prestigious “Top 10 Freshmen” list. Iggy Azalea is a bold artist with a colorful vision, but she is also introspective, and her artistry and message are intelligent and complex. We sat down with Iggy Azalea to discuss her journey, her accomplishments and her goals for the future.
...
When we asked her why the album was initially delayed, Iggy’s explanation was impressive: she was touring with Beyonce in Australia! “It’s hard to release an album and be ‘Down Under’,” she said. “I can’t release something and…promote it in a time zone that’s literally twelve hours different from everywhere else in the world! That wouldn’t have worked.”
Iggy described her time with Beyonce as “amazing,” and that the superstar is a “sweetheart.” She found it to be a great learning experience, because she had the opportunity to watch Beyonce create some music videos. “It was very inspiring…and very tasty, she has the best chefs!”
...
Of her experience signing with a major label she said, “It’s awesome having a reach that’s truly global, to reach so many different countries, that’s something I could never have done on my own.”
We have no doubt that Iggy Azalea will continue reaching a global audience with her music soaring to new heights.

Iggy did absolutely everything right. She worked hard and kept herself dedicated to her work rather than twitter feuds. Other girls could learn a lesson.
