There are many reasons why Dan deserves to win this; let me start by mentioning his dedication to this game. I never followed it, but he kept me updated on the rounds and what was going on in our daily conversations. He has been so into this game from the moment he joined, telling me about the different challenges and themes and sometimes even discussing his entries with me before sending them, asking for a second opinion. The amount of people he recruited for the charity challenge, where contestants had to get ATRLers to post in the thread, was overwhelming and just another sign of the effort he put into ILM. Lastly, as far as I know, his performance in the game overall was quite consistent, and at any given time he showed the absolute desire to win. He has been talking to me about winning that subscription forever. He has it all planned out, how he is gonna change his name and everything. And honestly, it would immensely enhance his ATRL personality if he had the chance to become ‘Legend E’. So many people know and call him by this name now, he has established it as his trademark, he really embodies it – and that is why he deserves the subscription and username change the most, in my opinion.

But apart from his enthusiasm and hard work in this game, he is also a really great guy, friendly and funny, who has evolved from a naive newbie to a well-known and appreciated member of a new generation of gamers. He is liked by games veterans and new members alike, he has hosted his own tournament, and he is a versatile and creative player who is not afraid to take on any challenge. He has a reputation as a fair player who is considerate of his fellow contestants, yet never loses sight of his own goals. Sure, that leads him to be a bit stubborn and overambitious sometimes, but that is just an expression of his determination to win.

So, all in all, I believe Dan deserves to win ILM because he has invested more than any of the others players into the game, he has the best plan how to use the prize, and his personality and character make him the ideal winner.
