If I flew with a male attendant, I'd make it a point to be his best friend.
I'm sure they're awesome if they're gay. A straight male flight attendant is boring.

Anyway, they basically get paid a set amount a month and you get more money by signing up for additional hours and any hours you work over time. Often you'll get scheduled a dead head where you get to ride in the plane and still get paid.

Anyway, consider it for the perks alone. You can basically travel the world wherever you want for change and when you are in it long enough, your benefits stick after you retire. Or you can just try it out. Most attendants don't stay forever.

The perks and befits is EXACTLY why I want to be one but ugh!!!
Was my dream job when I was a kid, and flying still fascinates me.
Sadly, I don't meet the standard height requirements, so that's about it. Oh well...
