I really wanted to be one and even though I've already proven that I don't need a 9-5 job to secure my future my parents are against me being a flight attendant.

What do you think of them, would you consider being one or is it a degrading job?

My boyfriend is one.

The pics show them as masculine types... but most of the ones I notice are Gay and Feminine though.

PS: every male flight attendant is gay, aside from a 1%. I've met all of the ones from his line and every single one of them are. That's twenty men.

They aren't having sex or hooking up all the time though. Most are great friends and they all go together to the drag shows and stuff.

It's a difficult job to find someone compatible with (a roommate of my boyfriend was 50 years old and was in an open marriage with kids, for example, to make their relationship work) but when you find someone it'll click! It's a very respectable job imho. Very hard to get in. You have to get a 92% or above on the final test.

Well, it's a generalization, but my boyfriend said there was only one straight guy in their training class of 50. So..

They're desperate for locals to join the big company staff over here so I can score less and still manage to creep in.

I know they aren't all having sex it's just .. I don't know how to explain it but my parents don't want that image going in everyone's head when I say what I do especially when it's compared to my siblings

They'll change their tune when you get the benefits. It costs my boyfriend 50 dollars to make a round trip to France from the USA.

I'm terrified of flying so I would never do it myself, but seriously if you want to be one then go be one. Who cares what your parents think?
