And thats completely fine, they can be offended by anything they please.
But it's also not EVER right for someone to tell gay men that they cant use terms they have been using their entire life and throughout their entire career because suddenly DECADES later "the mainstream media" says they can't.
The terms weren't for trans people, they were for drag queens/cross dressers to begin with.
RuPaul didn't have to include trans women in this, and the origin of she male might come from drag culture, however - when most people (not in drag or trans culture) here that term, they think of trans people. It's really not that hard to get
