I joined one in college and it was one of the best decisions of my life

I did. It was on my bucket list, and I did it. TKE!

It was definitely the most intense process of my life, because I am gay and was joining a macho men fraternity, but they accepted me and it was an amazing experience.

Rushing is a LOT of work and you will be pretty much devoted to your fraternity for an entire semester but I met guys that have become my life long friends, and people I never would have even came across if it wasn't for joining.

I thought about it but ended up deciding not to. It really depends on where you go to school and what Greek life is like on your campus.

We don't have those here.

And if I was an American I doubt I would either, I don't really get along with other guys on a friendly-personal basis, especially the jock-types.

Never. All the frats at my school haze and I think everyone who joins is dumb and weak... If people just said "no", they wouldn't haze. I don't want friendships with strangers that badly.

Why not?

No. I would only join one if the work I put into joining one paid off in the form of having access to exclusive internships and job opportunities. The social experience is irrelevant. Most people i know who joined it just for that aren't self-sufficient and or are sheep.
