I was outed yestaday (in a way) - my close girl mate tagged me in a "tag someone who thinks he is straight but they're gay" .
And my other friend tagged me on my birthday (last month) "happy birthday gay bitch" >> the meme had a pic of a shirtless guy holding a gay flag (he was cute)
I wouldn't say never, but the professional implications of being anything other than a cisgendered heterosexual can be severe, depending on their field of choice.
For me, being out wouldn't be the end of the world, but is more or less inadvisable. At least where I live.
Well that's cool you were able to put that behind you. If someone ever did that to me I don't think I would still be friends with them. I mean that's a really insensitive thing to do.
Eh. My best friend outed me to her husband. I would have preferred to have told him myself, but like you said, it's whatever...
Exactly. The reason I'm not fully out yet is because I don't feel my sexual orientation is anybody's business.

She apologized later and asked me if I was mad but I faked it and said no. It's not like I could turn back time and undo it.
