She's also recently made it abundantly clear she's here for her fans and not interested in making news. Which could lightly translate into a "fans that matter" situation.

Rihanna doesn't have the power to release an album without a HIT first single. I mean, she had a 10 week #1 song and couldn't even shift 200k copies in the first week.

Whoever is trying to pull a Beyonce has to be an album seller and who the GP trusts to put out great music. Maybe Taylor or Adele or someone ATRL doesn't pay attention to.
