Why would men need a purse? They have clothes that have, like, actual pockets. Real pockets, not just pocket designs.
Women's clothing rarely have pockets and when they do, it's just some tiny 4 square inch thing that barely holds loose change.

I'm not 100% opposed to a guy with a purse. BUT it must fit your body type. Seeing most guys are bigger, a Chanel clutch would not suffice.
I would only carry a Birkin 40CM, that's it. The 30CM or 35CM would be too small.
I mean minus the skirt, look at how the 40CM fits him.
