Rebecca. X-Men 1-3 were her movies. That iconic scene when she breaks into Stryker's lab facility pretending to be Wolverine and slides under the closing door flipping off the soldiers is i c o n i c.
she got into this when she was barely starting and now that she has become such a benchmark name in hollywood they just milked the contract she most surely had in case of sequels
i think this role is damaging her image, she already has a blockbuster franchise(THG) 2 is just too much of her on the cinemas right now, besides she keeps doing her David O Russell films
after The Hunger Games end next year i hope she takes a 1-2 year break because by that time i think people will have had a bit too much of this good actress
Rebecca. Growing up watching her as mystique made me go through puberty a lot earlier lol. So far Jennifer hasn't really played an evil mystique. We shall wait till days of future past.
I think they both offer interesting portrayals of the character.
I, like many of you, grew up watching the original trilogy and adored Rebecca, as well as the character itself.
I also adore Jennifer, both in this and as an actress, so of course i'm also gonna be a fan of her portrayal.
But i can definitely see why people are preferring Rebecca's version, and i'm probably inclined to agree.
HOWEVER,
we haven't really gotten to see the deadly side of the character yet, as first class was an origins film, so we got to see how she turned into the character we know her to be. And from the looks of the trailer for days of future past, it looks like she will be badass.
