A Chinese baby boy born with an extra penis on his back spent three hours in surgery this past weekend to have the extra, uhm, member, removed.
The tot's former condition is called fetus in fetu (FIF), a condition where twins fail to develop normally in the womb and one becomes conjoined or reabsorbed.
The extra penis was attached to the spine and nervous system of the infant. The three hour long operation to remove the penis posed a high degree of difficulty, but was completed successfully, with the baby showing no signs of nerve damage.

Not only that, but the research from this mis-fortune actually opens up more bridges in the world of biology, medicine, as well as stem cell research.
But in the end, I think having a 2nd penis on my back would be far more terrible than "cool". I feel bad for this kid, and I'm glad to see that he'll grow up to be a regular guy.
Why the penis? If he had a twin growing attached to him, why did he grow up only the penis? Why didn't he grow an ear, or a fingernail or something more, mmh, discrete?
He would have been a good threesome guy.
