The freakiest of them all must be
Miang Kham flavour, a flavour of an old-fashioned Thai snack no-one uses anymore. It mainly consists of dry shrimps, lime and assorted herbs. Surprisingly, it tastes so good and was pretty successful commercially.
PS. - Salt & vinegar flavour flopped miserably here.
