I won’t tolerate negativity towards Gaga’s most consistent, personal, and experimental album to date in any way, especially because I recognize that this negativity stems from a vapid, empty dissatisfaction with how the album is doing commercially (even though the album is ABSOLUTELY selling on par with/better than her pop contemporaries; this nonsense about ARTPOP “flopping” is a fabrication perpetuated by those unwilling to move on from the misogynistic stan culture that needlessly pits women against each other and undermines the success these women have achieved), even though you SHOULD appreciate an artist due to their artistic achievements, creative efforts, etc. Take the banal, hackneyed criticisms elsewhere, or better yet, keep them to yourself. You’re the reason this woman actually fell into a depression at the end of last year. Think about the woman you claim to love before you spout your toxic, self-serving platitudes and go be insipid somewhere else because I’m absolutely ****ing sick of it.
