Guinness has pulled out of New York’s St Patrick’s Day parade because gay and lesbian groups have been excluded, costing the organisers of Monday’s event a key sponsor.
“Guinness has a strong history of supporting diversity and being an advocate for equality for all. We were hopeful that the policy of exclusion would be reversed for this year’s parade,” the brewer said in a written statement issued by a spokesman for its UK parent company, Diageo.
“As this has not come to pass, Guinness has withdrawn its participation. We will continue to work with community leaders to ensure that future parades have an inclusionary policy,” Guinness said.
I was elated when I heard this on the news this morning! A mayor also didn't attend and he was the first Irish mayor in 20 years! This Catholic bishop went OFF when they asked him how he felt about it! "The left is trying to shove the Gay agenda down our throats!" I love that this is enraging people! Gays and the love they get will never cease! Get used to it bigots!
lol I'm gay and I don't need my own parade for St. Patricks day. You're supposed to just go with a bunch of friends, get drunk, wear green and that's it right?
It's amazing when big companies with money at stake make statements like these 
they're saying why do LGBT have to have their own pride section at a St Patrick's Day parade.
