The poll options are just ridiculous though, I voted "No. The Best Album of all Time." coz i don't want the OP's shade tactic to work but It's not my fave album it's just a very good album.

I think it deserves the praise though, Bey experimented with it. She tried new things and she didn't make it for radio. She did her own thing and that's what music critics love and so do stans.

She delivered on everything. She wasn't predictable, she didn't following trends nor was she restricted in her lyrical content. She incorporated real messages of todays generation (feminism, body image, self-confidence etc..) which hasn't been properly done by a pop girl since Janet's earlier days. Quite a few critical darlings have 0.

I was just talking about music reviews and up until 4, her albums had been take it or leave it by the critics.

I don't know what her future standing will be with critics and ultimately, I don't care. I just hope she keeps growing in some aspect like she's been doing with each passing release.

And I already answered how I feel about the album now vs. then. I don't need your permission to quote two members dragging another for trying to poke holes in her reviews and how fast they were submitted. How many times due I have to state I have nothing against this woman, I just think THIS album in general is overrated now vs then when it first came out because the hype.

And yet, Grammys are still a major determining factor for critical reception. Whether YOU care about the Grammys or not is of no importance to me or anyone else, to be honest.

B'Day was well-received. So 3/5 albums being well-received/critically acclaimed is amazing, especially for a mainstream pop/R&B artist. She's a critical darling, like I said.

B'day wasn't "GREATLY" received, it has a score of 70 which is ok..... but once again what do these reviews have to do with anything, this is based on ATRL's opinions.

Are you delusional? Most of Beyonce's songs on this new album are a reincarnation of something she's done before, just because it has a slight adjustment in the concept doesn't mean it's not similar.

But that's beyond the point.

Like I said, the reviews don't mean anything. This is based on ATRL's opinion of what they think of the album now vs then.
