From my understanding he/she is suing for almost collateral damage which root from racism. For example he/she was fired by Sony's V.P from racism and being fired made him lose work opportunities with Brandy and Such - making him lose money.

Artists often have their individual publicist, in addition to label publicist. Sounds like the label publicist didn't want Fantasia or Brandy to be represented by Courtney Barnes.

Barnes is reaching (IMO) by saying it was racism was the reason Fantasia was pressured to fire Barnes.

Sounds fishy to me. But whatevs....lol...

And the whole "threatening" Fantasia part....basically the label publicist ALLEGEDLY threatened to harm Fantasia's career if she didn't fire Barnes.
