Now that I've been a registered member of ATRL for over half a year (albeit browsing for well over a year before my registration), I've been able to experience many different aspects of ATRL. There's the excitement of a new single or album being announced in Music News, there's the intrigue in finding out what all of our favourite (and not-so-favourite) artists are up to in Celebria and of course polls and general discussions about music and other things in the Base and Lounge sections. So I think that in order to be a true part of the ATRL community you need to be active in all areas of the site, all of which I feel I am.
In order to be a top member I don't necessarily believe that you need to be the most active, have the most posts or even be the most liked. Being a top member isn't just about being the best member on ATRL, but also about being the best member that you can be. Whether that's being a bit shady and making people laugh, sharing an opinion on a topical issue or experiencing a new track with other fans of a particular artist. ATRL is first and foremost a community for music fans, and being an all-around part in that community is what puts me one step closer to being ATRL's Next Top Member.
ATRL's Next Top Member can't just be anyone, of course. They have to be different. They have to be unique. They have to stand out. I feel like my time on ATRL has opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about music, and I feel like I also want to help continue this and open others' eyes to having new ways of thinking about music, too. Being a top member isn't just about embracing change, but striving towards it, too.
I have drive, I have character, and most of all, I have a desire to succeed. I don't want to come into this thinking, "Well there's always next time," because just as you start to create a safety net for yourself to fall back on is exactly when you're opening yourself up to failure. I'm not coming into this for a "thanks, but no thanks". I'm going to give it everything I've got. And that, I believe, is why I am ATRL's Next Top Member.

I believe what makes me a top member is how i'm new, i'm fresh and still have no idea what is going on. I'm a very kind member towards one another, and I do try to help people out when is needed (minus gif making = nightmare). I'm an young inspiring Australian song writer/composer/producer/singer in the making. My love for music is crazy as hell and I'm committing myself to a 2 year studies to get my cert IV and degree for it, this shows you I'm an dedicated person to things that I love!!

I'm unbiased. I look at things both ways. However i do shamelessly promote my fave once in a while. Also i know how to be humorous and make people enjoy ATRL. I mean just like at my AVI for a quick cute cackle. I'm very skilled with photoshop, the day i get a single thread i'm going to make a ***flawless banner. I'm also a very skilled gif maker (which is very important here). One of my fave unused ones

I have never competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before. I am new to the games section on ATRL and have only taken part in one other tournament and I hope to take part in this one.

What makes me a top member? Hmm... What makes me a top member is that I have a personality that you'll never forget. I use a combination of hashtags, foolishness, and wit in my posts which draws attention to them. You know it's me who typed a post that has #slé or some other hashtag in it. I also have a desire to win. I want to win everything. No matter what it is, I want to win. Personally, I think I'm the most competitive person I've ever met. Not that this has to do with anything, but I also have seen every cycle of America's Next Top Model so if you throw any references, I'll be the first to catch them (insert winky face and gaycat smiley).

I've been lurking in the old ANTM threads and it seems like a really fun time and I really want to be a part of this game. I want to show all the judges that I am not just some messy Azealia stan, I am smart, kind, and funny. Give me a chance to show ATRL who I am, please. This may not be the best entry you get but I hope you think about it. Please consider accepting me into ATRL's Next Top Member. I will be sure to give it my all and put forth my best effort. Twice. Last place in Cycle 5 because my Year-End Top 3 for 2010 was too Disney and 12th in Cycle 8 in an MC round.

I've been a member since 2008, and a lot of members have liked to ridicule my actions, but it hasn't stopped me from being an active person in the games section, hosting an A-List 40 countdown in Your Top Ten, posting in various Music News threads (Cassadee Pope, Demi Lovato, Samantha Jade, Austin Mahone, etc.), blogging, occasionally posting in PYP with controversial photos and communicating with other members through Facebook, twitter and Last FM. If a top member enjoys a site, they'll stick with it because at the end of the day the site is more relevant than all the members that pick on you, drag you and shade you and that's how I see it with me.

A TOP MEMBER MAKES IMPACT WITH THEIR OWN IDEAS AND NOT SOMEONE ELSES
In 2010, I created the ABC Singles Game. After I reached the Letter L, Ray Bass took-over and finished it off. This game influenced Mr. Duff to create the ABC game for albums and Simon1120 to create the ABC game based on Artist's name. Adr also gave me credit for starting this game when he revived the game in 2014. In 2011, after I took an 8 month hiatus from this site, I came back and created the Hot 100 hits musical chairs game, which inspired Stereo_Love to create it for the Canadian Hot 100 and for tell_me_lie to create one for the UK Singles Chart. In addition, two of my former avatars, one of Sims 2 character Dina Caliente and one of Humongous Junior Adventures Character Freddi Fish, were used as shady pics by Kavish and Gatsby (Rem). Jessie_Mulay also tried exposing Teddy Michaels after I tried exposing a member named MimiLAMb (not the one that signed up for this game though LOL). My point is, a TOP member shouldn't rely on LaToya GIFS or threads that have to do with saying that a pop girl looks the age of a little kid or teenager or have to use a picture of someone peaking through blinds or that some girl has a haircut or outfit that is so bad that it has to be described as "tragic". They should be able to make an impact without having to go to annoying and generic ATRL trends

And lastly:

A TOP MEMBER SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENJOY BOTH ATRL AND THEIR ACTUAL LIFE
At the end of the day, you shouldn't have to rely on ATRL to make your life interesting and special. There are some people on this site that think they can't breathe without ATRL if they get themselves banned from here for a month. Now I've gotten banned numerous times over the years, most recently in January after I lasted 19 months without getting banned. And go figure, I got banned during the middle of my Winter Break. Did that stop me from enjoying Winter Break? No. I celebrated my birthday with my Mom at Olive Garden and hung out with one of my homegurls while she was in town on her own Winter Break. Plus, as I've gotten more active around my city while going to school, events and simply just daily tasks while also taking care of my new chocolate lab dogs, I'm not on ATRL as much. I'm still active, but you're less likely to see me after midnight or during the afternoon on a Weekday when I could be at school or picking up groceries or my parent's prescriptions or taking my dogs out into the yard to play. If you're a top member, you should be able to enjoy this site while also enjoying your actual life

I prefer to be called with my name on atrl which is ♥jONE731♥ than Joshua in my real life, Wanna know why do i pick ♥jONE731♥ instead of my real name? First the heart signs cames from Taylor Swift as everyone know it's her heart signs that everybody loves and talks about her, a signature that will never erase on taylor stans around the world take for example her Ours music Video.
I also decided to change it to ♥jONE731♥ back from the time when there's a free change of username i decided to change it from jone631 into ♥jONE731♥. It was spelled out like that, as you can see the capital letters are "ONE" (1) which means i am the number one in everything that fight or going through, i can site this tournament for example

I didn't make it but then someone got banned like before the Top 8, I think and I made it until the Top 5? I don't remember, it was on my first months here, on ATRL.

I'm a Top Member because I don't get into silly stan wars. I won't deny that I didn't participate in one, I've been in thousands of them but now I'm just here to get news and enjoy the music, I do enjoy most of the popstars even if they flop *Looks at Britney Jean and Artpop* I barely post, I think is time to rise up and be part of the ATRL community again and for me this is the better way to do it, get to know the newbies and drag the oldies, I'm looking at you Dairy Queen
