The praise in the thread about a gay guy beating up a female, calling each other sistren, referring to where you have sex as a female cavity with a "b" instead of a "p", the obsession for female pop artists/rappers and the repulsion for males...do gay guys relate to straight women more than straight men IN GENERAL?

For the record I'm an avid supporter of gay rights and I am just expressing curiosity. If that offends you then take a deep breath and just log off.

Women.

In Western society, masculinity is mainly constructed around attraction towards women so it's no surprise gay men would not be able to identify with that core element and, in turn, most other things considered traditionally masculine.

Personally I'd say women

I can't speak for everyone, but I relate more with women. But I'm the stereotype with more female friends than guy friends, so.

Oh and this is about mentally.

Gay's, they are woman's trapped in a man's body.

But from my experience, most gay guys relate to women more by far

If we're talking about music I go by the genre not the gender of the artist, the only reason I use female artists more is because there are no popular male dance artists as far as I know. I always relate more to men.

All my straight male friends are the types of guys who don't just constantly talk about/objectify women. Unfortunately there are a lot of straight guys who literally do that 90% of the time, so I suppose it's not surprising that we don't have much to talk about. If it weren't for that, there would be no reason not to be friends with them or relate to them

well both. I mean we go through all the things (physically) that a man does but we are more in touch with our emotions and express ourselves more (like women). its not that simple as saying you identify more with one or the other.
