Quote:
miss that cheap chandelier,
Remember when dad hung it there,
We would watch Rocky 4,
The one where the Russian scored,
I love Brigitte Nielsens hair
I'd cry you're my champion,
But we had already won,
And cracked open one last beer,
Falling asleep in our tears,
Those Brooklyn Nights set us free!
I found an old pair of keys in my purse
That opened the lockup we shared,
How did they get there, jerk?

I really like these lyrics because they include so many specific details. Reminds me of Y&I, or bringing up Rivington in HML, etc. I love when songwriters do that, it's so much more personal, and it's actually way more relatable to me than big blanket statements (eg. "we loved each other so much then we broke up") because no one's life is a big blanket statement.
Gaga should let us in more like that, it's good to be personal
