it's just a f******* incredible piece of work, and that very last push she needed to enter the LegendZone tbh. stanning hard for Beyoncé now and fully believe in her artistic capabilities and virtuoso intellect .
I remember hating Drunk In Love, not getting why it was released to begin with, but after that Grammy performance I fell in love with it. And no, it wasn't because it skyrocketed to #2, but because I loved the performance so much! I kept playing the song and playing the performance in my head. I also love Partition, Jealous, used to love Flawless and Rocket. I give the album a 6.5. I has some 10.0 songs for me, but it also has a lot of 0.0's. So yeah.
I remember crying like a baby at midnight when it dropped. I didn't connect with it on first listen shockingly. It was so left side for Bey that it caught me off guard. But of course now i have a shrine for it on my shelf and i play it daily. Probably one of the best albums of my lifetime.
