Me neither, but I actually like it better than Gypsy. It has the same sort of feeling, but better. Though Gypsy is more obviously a potential single, so if they had to pick just one... I get it.

I like it too, but I don't think it fits well with the rest of the tracks.

Didn't I read that this was recorded years ago though? That could explain the Fame vocals. The piano at the start also sounds like her old style

I LOVE the song but I can totally see why it didn't make the album.

Brooklyn Nights was competing with MJH, right?
Odd thing is that fi I would think about the sound of the album all together, I would probably dump Applause.
Add Brooklyn Nights after MJH, and let Dope end the album and it would have been more solid all together and I adore Applause so that says a lot!

I think it was written years ago and she just reworked it for ARTPOP, like what she did with Fashion of his love for BTW.
