I'm doing my english A2 coursework right now and it is a killer. Anyone who's considering English A level, don't.

I was thinking of doing English Lit if I flop year 12 and I re-do the whole year (with new A-Levels).

No, seriously it's good that you're clever enough to realise that if you flop you should start again with new A levels. My friend's friend is retaking three maths papers and two biology papers and two psychology papers + her A2 exams.


I do English Literature, Film Studies & Philosophy.

I studied English Literature and got an A* last year at A-Level. It's mostly just about having lots of interesting points, critical views (+ exact quotes) and original views. The last one more than anything actually, most people just copy everything they saw in York Notes but don't develop any opinions of their own.

I'm in my AS year and I'm so scared of exams
I don't want to flop and have to redo the year
