I said that they would still be "pretty" famous not "as" famous. They're a pop boy group, music isn't what they're achieving to ace, they were made purely to sell records off of teens which they're doing pretty successful.

I feel like they don't have the it factor. No one outside of their fanbase really cares that much about them. They have never gotten the press that Justin has always gotten. They also don't have a signature hit like " baby"

Not at all. You can name them probably because you grew up listening to their hits. It's not the same case to the public. None of them are really memorable, and all of them have little recurrent airplay.

The songs they release as singles aren't catchy.

Their music is mostly teen bubblegum pop. It probably wouldn't have caught on with the GP had they not had their massive teen fanbase behind them. The Wanted had little teen support when GYC took off and smashed because it was another electro-dance hit that the GP loved at the time, not because they had a huge fanbase.

GYC was a massive hit by a band nobody cared about. WMYB was a song that only became a massive hit because people cared about them. Complete difference here.
