The biggest artists would do nothing in American Idol. Madonna wouldn't make the final, Mariah would make the top 6, and I agree with the Josh Groban thing, he could be the number one. As could Colbie Caillat or Sara Bareilles. But Alicia Keys or Ne*Yo also could go very far in the competition
Absoulete same. Would not make the final 12 or even get through to the semi's. Janet's voice is heavily enhanced, maybe more than Britneys and Madonnas. I'd say that Britney would have a better chance than Madonna and Janet
American Idol is like a lottery, so it's impossible to say. They reject all kinds of amazing people and put through questionable talents just to find a mix that's interesting on the show.
