It was supposed to be a fun family outing to the movies, but Nair Rodriguez's 19-year-old daughter got under her skin. They fought, she said, and she slapped her daughter. The mother-daughter disagreement had upset Mrs. Rodriguez so much that she had bolted for the family car. Her husband, Luis, followed her to calm her down when he was intercepted by five police who arrived on the scene to investigate a domestic dispute call at the theater. However instead of confronting Mrs. Rodriguez, the five cops took down her innocent husband, Luis Rodriguez, beating, pepper spraying and pinning him on the road after he refused to show them his I.D.
Oh God, I can't even watch that video. The first two seconds with that poor woman's anguished voice as those five brutes hold her husband down...absolutely disgusting. The only reason they did is because of his race, if he was a white guy they would have NEVER done that. Police target minorities all the time (and this is not "made up social justice warrior ********", it's actual statistics), they are murderers! I hope all of them are thrown in jail and some kind of change happens in the American police force where this kinds of actions are actively investigated and punished severely. All too often police will get away with absolutely no punishment.
I wonder how many people ran in here
to see if the victim was black so they could write an essay on racism?
n. Ryan... noo...

When she starts to realize that he truly isn't okay and she starts freaking out. I had feels. Same when you could hear (probably the daughter) in the background crying. Boy guy.
I just read something about that. Horrible.. In front of his wife and daughter. The wife didn't even know it was her husband either when she filmed the beating...
