And I get what he meant. It has good tracks but it's a strange album - when you look at it as a package.

The thing is, if you look at the industry now, and if you look at the industry then, Damita Jo still > most of what's out there.

I don't really use pre-'93 Janet albums. I'll usually just turn to Design of a Decade or Number Ones.

Damita jo had some great chill to jams but a looot of fillers. Sexhibition, slo love, soending time with you and all nite slay tho.

Awful album through and through but "R&B Junkie" is a true winner. Glad he called it.

Jimmy sounds pressed that she decided to work with other producers besides him. He produced the weakest songs on DJ and she always does too many slow songs when they work together. The BEST songs on it came from the other producers, wish she had put more of their songs on the album.

It was the same with AFY, he shut out every other producer she worked with except one. Now suddenly he doesn't like the album that he's not the main part of? And I CAN'T at him saying Truly is one of the best songs on it, its probably the weakest. I'm hoping she works with alot of different people for her next one and only does a few songs with him if any,

Agree..definitely her weakest one.

Personally, Discipline is my favorite janet album. I can listen to it from start to finish.
