I still can't believe Gaga did that I thought the puke thing was genius, she hasn't done anything that bold in a LONG time. But yeah everything else kinda worried me, it was messy and the "f*** pop music" thing was so opposite from how she was in the past with "Pop music will never be low brow" "Pop ate my heart", etc.
A part of me does miss that Gaga too. But after last night I can tell she really needs to being us raw, angry, Gaga. I'm ready for it.
Why don't y'all understand that when Gaga was all PEACE LOVE AND POP music she was a newbie. She hadn't even really had a true taste of fame until maybe a year and a half later. There's no way she could have anticipated how far she has gone. And her true roots really aren't all that pop. It's not unsafe to assume that she played the record labels to get to where she is today.

Ugh the Swine performance made me love her all over again. I really thought I was going to drag Gaga today. Yes, she protested pop music - to which one has to ask her 'don't you sing pop music?' - but I think she clearly meant **** the standards of pop music. Gaga is furious that she isn't a pretty girl who can sing songs written by other people. She's a pop star and she needs to accept that. She can be a pop star and play by her own rules just as she did before.
Anyhow, this is still the Gaga I've been waiting for. Not that tame mess we got last year. This is clearly what Gaga has been dying to do and I think we are all in for more surprises.
